“Mad Men” to Take Over Metro

In honor of the ending of “Mad Men,” Metro has invited creator Matthew Weiner to the Metro office today to guest edit the weekend edition. The series, an impeccably directed, pristinely costumed look at a group of ad men (and women) in the ‘60s, was the brainchild of Weiner, who, by the way, also worked on “Sopranos.”

We’ll be doing an exclusive interview with Weiner, as well as producing original content related to the show and time period. Most specifically, we’ll have a story on how “Mad Men” has changed the current advertising industry. Weiner, as guest editor, will also be providing personal commentary on stories throughout the edition.

As we await Weiner’s arrival later this afternoon, here are five things you might not know about him.
