According to a survey done by Marketing Sherpa in October 2016, 82% of US internet users trust print ads when making a purchase decision, narrowly surpassing every other medium. When it comes to online advertisements, search ads are the most trusted type with 61% of consumers trusting them. Pop-ups come in last place with only 25% of Americans trusting them.
