Metro Taking Over Philadelphia

Metro is growing and reaching more metropolitans in Philly!

An aggressive new distribution strategy has begun in Philadelphia, sure to expand Metro’s already significant reach within the city.

The largest circulated newspaper in Philadelphia, with more copies distributed than The Inquirer and The Daily News combined, Metro is expanding! Promoters, unique distribution outlets and new boxes are all part of Metro’s growing distribution in Philly.

With the addition of new promoters, Metro is now hand distributed every week day at 5 central locations throughout Philadelphia. Check out the below photo gallery to see some of our promoters in action!

Starting June 1, Metro will also be available to readers in 27 Wawa stores throughout Philadelphia county. Having a presence in the largest convenience store chain in greater Philadelphia will help Metro reach even more city dwellers.

To add to the new distribution channels, we have also invested in brand new street boxes. New orange boxes will be sure to stand out on city streets and catch the eye of all passersby. Current Metro boxes will be also replaced with the new orange boxes.
