Metro US Launches MetroX

Metro US, the most-read free daily newspaper nationwide announces today the launch of MetroX, a new digital reach extension program.

“We are excited to extend Metro US’s digital reach and offerings”, said Lotta Karlsson, Metro US, Chief Digital Officer. “With MetroX, we can now offer programmatic solutions at scale and on every screen to fit our clients’ every need”.

In parallel, Metro US announces the appointment of Susan Peiffer as Digital Sales Director, reporting to Lotta Karlsson, Metro US, Chief Digital Officer. Ms. Peiffer is an industry veteran with over 25 years’ print and digital media sales experience at Valassis, philly.com, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Washington Examiner, Philadelphia City Paper and Metro US.

“With Susan Peiffer’s rich digital sales experience, MetroX is off to a good start”, added Lotta Karlsson.

The launch of MetroX is part of Metro US’s ongoing strategy to expand its digital offerings. Last year, Metro re-launched its news website metro.us, introduced its new app, acquired citypaper.net and launched several websites, such as Club Metro and ZipTrials.us.
