August 6: The cover story for the weekend paper will be an interview with Charlize Theron about her new movie “Dark Places”.
August 14: We will have an interview about Ice Cube and Dr. Dre’s movie “Straight Outta Compton”, being released in theaters today.
August 21: The Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg movie “American Ultra” is out today and we will have an interview to promote the movie.
August 28: We will have a feature on the new movie “We Are Your Friends,” starring Zac Efron and Emily Ratajowski.
August 3: A feature running in today’s paper is an interview with Lennon Parham and Jessica St. Clair about their USA show “Playing House”.
August 6: We will be honoring “The Daily Show” for Jon Stewart’s final episode.
August 13: “Glee” favorite Jane Lynch has a new Broadway show “See Jane Sing.” We will have an interview with her about performing on the screen versus the stage.
August 24: We’ll be featuring an interview jazz musician Kamashi Washington about his new album and tour, as well as working on Kendrick Lamar’s latest album.
August 30: The MTV Video Music Awards are tonight. We will have live coverage of all the “can’t miss” moments online and in the August 31 paper in The Word.
August 4: Bestselling author Susan Shapiro is well-known here in NYC; she’s been teaching at NYU and The New School for decades. We will interview Shapiro about her 12th book, “What’s Never Said,” tied to an event at Housing Works.
August 18: Internet superstar Felicia Day has a huge following. We will run an interview with her about her debut book, “You’re Never Weird On The Internet.”
August 3: Our friends at MWN shared a great feature with us in which popular bloggers share their style secrets. We’re going to highlight this online.
August 4: Americans are obsessed with French fashion and beauty. In today’s paper, we’ll spill all the French beauty secrets for our readers to try at home.
August 4: Today’s big wellbeing story is “Why you should take that vacation.”
August 25: We’re writing a great article for today’s paper about how to make stress work for you. Apparently, stress isn’t all bad!
August 25: But because no one should be stressed all the time, we’re also writing a service article teaching readers some yoga poses that will help them detox.

August 17: The very popular non-profit Pencils for Promise is expanding their mission. As if building schools in developing nations wasn’t enough, they now developed a classroom curriculum in which students here in the States can help less fortunate students in other countries. We’ll explain how it all works in today’s paper, with an interview from one of the PoP execs.
